Under the guidance of the Deputy Support Manager (DSM) the post holder will help to:

provide local HR, IT, and finance services/support/signposting
provide outstanding administrative provision, ensuring deadlines are met
provide excellent customer service support, including dealing with complaints and appeals
ensure correct application of admissions policies.
Respond promptly and accurately to requests for information and assistance from all customers and stakeholders, including applicants, staff based in academic schools, and staff in central services.
Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Admissions Support Team, including the allocation of work tasks, production of work schedules, proving pastoral care and feedback through regular 1-2-1s, training and support to staff members where necessary.
Collaborate with others to make recommendations for improvement of established processes and procedures.
Using initiative and creativity, contribute to solving complex issues.
Function as the key contact for local HR and finance procedures/policies.
Support the regular review of admissions policies and procedures.
Support the Deputy Support Manager in new programme creation and updates within the student records system.
Update admissions information on the University's internal and external websites .
Support the DSM to create, update, and deliver a suite of training materials relevant to Admissions Support Team responsibilities.
Support the successful completion of internal and external audits.

To deputise for the Admissions Support Manager and Deputy Manager as required.
Perform other duties not included above, but which will be consistent with the role., The Admissions Team is responsible for the provision and administration of the University's recruitment process and policies related to admissions. This includes the provision of application processes, decision communication and maintenance of systems related to the admissions process.
