To assist the Head of School / Pupil Support Manager in developing the school as a high quality specialist provision for pupils with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties (SEBD) through providing the highest standards of pastoral care for all pupils of all abilities in a safe and orderly learning environment which provides a high standard of behaviour. To support the teacher in addressing the needs of all pupils but especially those pupils who need particular help with behaviour management to overcome barriers to learning. All the duties outlined are carried out under the direction and supervision of the Head of School / Pupil Support Manager.

• GCSE's in Maths and English, grade C or above
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Flexible approach to working
• Ability to build relationships with children & young people
• Ability to work successfully with pupils with challenging behaviour
• Full UK Driving Licence (is preferred not essential)
• High expectations of others
• Willing to undertake training

Crookhey Hall School has a 15-acre setting in countryside south of Cockerham, near Lancaster. Due to the location, it would be beneficial for candidates to have a driving licence. The aim of the site is to provide enough support to unlock each pupil's potential so they can live fulfilling and productive lives. We provide pupils with as much freedom as possible in a safe and supervised environment. This is achievable due to the dedication and support from a range of employed professionals who are passionate, reliable, and understanding. • £20,906.25 per annum (not pro rata)
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm
