Full Job Description
As a Health and Safety Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing mandatory and role-essential training, ensuring compliance with national statutory and organizational training requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining and updating training matrices while ensuring effective reporting structures that drive action and demonstrate compliance.
You will be responsible for:
+ Maintaining and updating training matrices and electronic records within the Learning Management System (LMS).
+ Tracking training completion across the business, including SOPs and technical procedures within the factory.
+ Ensuring reporting structures are in place, tracking key training KPIs such as completion rates, training hours, and no-shows, and escalating issues where non-compliance is identified.
+ Providing weekly and monthly reports on training progress and future requirements for departmental heads.
+ Delivering site inductions for all new starters, including both face-to-face and online elements, managing paperwork, passes, and system login details.
+ Supporting the delivery of induction refreshers and ongoing training modules.
+ Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Technical Teams to ensure training is effectively developed and deployed.
+ Supporting the development and maintenance of the electronic learning system, including uploading SOPs, managing revisions, and creating learning calendars and assignments.
+ Ordering and managing training supplies and materials.
+ Creating and managing training materials and courses to align with current and future build models.
+ Training employees on quality control measures, defect prevention, continuous improvement, and production efficiency.
+ Coordinating activities within the Production Learning Academy to deliver training on key process elements and manufacturing methodologies.
+ Ensuring feedback mechanisms are in place at training gateways to refine and improve training programs.
What you will need to be successful in this role
+ Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
+ Ideally, previous experience in LMS administration.
+ Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ The ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
+ Proactive attitude, willing to learn quickly and take on new challenges.
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Self-motivated, with the ability to motivate others.
+ Experience delivering professional training to employees at all levels, particularly in Health and Safety compliance.
+ Knowledge and experience in designing, developing, and delivering training courses.
+ Familiarity with UK Health and Safety regulations and awarding body assessment criteria.
+ Experience working towards a quality management system, ensuring training courses have clear objectives and lesson plans.
+ Ability to deliver classroom-based, virtual, and recorded training solutions.
Essential Qualifications:
+ NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
+ Level 3 Award in Adult Education & Training or equivalent.
+ Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent.
This is a full-time office-based role based at our campus in Silverstone, with additional requirement to travel to other locations where necessary.
