Full Job Description

As a Reward Advisor, you will report to the Senior Reward Manager, supporting colleagues in cyclical reward processes, and the delivery of the reward strategy, principles, and policies across the Group. You will be a key member of the project team, responsible for managing our annual pay and bonus cycle, role evaluation, benefits, and recognition programs. Please note, this role is available as either Full Time or Part Time, to be based in Manchester, Leeds, or Sheffield. What You'll Be Doing Cyclical processes or activities

  • Assist the Head of Reward and Senior Reward Manager with cyclical reward processes including pay review, bonus, benefits renewal, recognition, and any regulatory or legal requirements contributing to associated preparatory papers
  • Ensure operational excellence in all cyclical processes by the effective project management and planning, to support the wider Reward team in these activities
  • Working closely with the HR Business Partners and other key stakeholders regarding deadlines and key performance management activity
  • Ensuring that all reward related information including complex data is effectively managed and up to date in relevant systems
  • Be the port of call for all reward related queries for the organisation, providing guidance, support and training where required to all levels.
  • Reward, Benefits and Recognition
  • Work independently to manage benefits offer across the Group and be the key point of contact for our benefits providers, including
  • managing the annual benefit renewal process, including reviewing the offer and making changes and recommendations where appropriate, implementing relevant changes and communication to colleagues
  • Managing benefits service reviews with the benefit broker and providers during the year, keeping to date with the market for any changes and developments in Reward.
  • Ensure that the intranet and any literature is up to date
  • Communicating with key External stakeholders and internal stakeholders up to Senior levels within the business.
  • Collaborate and drive any Recognition initiatives, contributing to the design and innovation, and where appropriate manage any implementation of change or programmes
  • Reporting and Analytics
  • Work with the Reward Analyst to identify the most appropriate Reward metrics and reporting requirements
  • Analyse key Reward data as appropriate to identify trends, propose improvements, actions or change and prepare proposals to support the business.
  • Produce relevant management information for projects as appropriate
  • Produce yearly salary range updates utilising a mixture of external commercial data to ensure the organisation is meeting market trends.
  • Role Evaluation
  • Coordinate the Role Evaluation process to ensure a timely and effective process. Manage the key stakeholders in this process, including HR Business Partners, Managers and any representation required.
  • Utilise third party software such as WTW to effectively evaluate all roles within the organisation.
  • Pensions
  • Support as appropriate with any pension changes and communications
  • Support colleagues in their understanding of the Group's pension scheme as part of the reward offer
  • Support with pensions governance activities as required
  • Projects
  • Own or manage any specific projects as required

    Given the nature of the role, you must have a proven track record of delivering key initiatives within a fast-paced environment and be able to manage and balance your own workload. You'll be working with significant amounts of data and information, so it's essential you have excellent attention to detail and strong planning and organising skills.
  • It's preferable to have a demonstrable understanding of Role Evaluation methodologies, including Willis Towers Watson or Hay. You'll be skilled at stakeholder management and have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, working closely with key stakeholders including Head of HR to ensure that deadlines and key activities are met.
