Full Job Description
My personal care routine, which includes assistance with showers, toileting, and transfers (using a hoist - full training provided), is a key part of the role. On some days, we may head out for shopping trips or dog walks or be in the flat. You must be a confident cook, as meal preparation will be part of the job.
As I have a Canine Partner assistance dog, you must be comfortable with dogs and willing to help clean up after her when needed. While I currently live in temporary accommodation in Elswick, I plan to move in the future.
Outside of my daily routine, I love spending time at the polytunnel, going for dog walks, and exploring my creative side through art. If you're someone who is proactive, quick-thinking, calm, and enjoys spending time outdoors, we'll make a great team.
This role is about supporting me to live independently, and I'm looking for someone who shares a passion for making each day both productive and enjoyable.
