Full Job Description
Global business-to-business (B2B) payment market is in the range of USD 120 trillion. Most of it happens on non-card rails, representing tremendous growth opportunity for Mastercard's Corporate Solutions. The European Commercialisation Team is responsible to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to retain, grow and expand Mastercard commercial footprint in the region. To do this, the team takes an end-to-end approach by formulating market strategy, developing relevant products and solutions, packaging these products, articulating the value proposition to issuers and their customers, and optimising the go-to-market process. The Commercialisation Manager will support the European region by accelerating deployment of corporate payment solutions based on customer needs and business opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Commercialisation, he/she will be responsible to drive the strategic selling and sales support, ongoing management and enhancements of commercial solutions, engagement with internal and external stakeholders to achieve annual revenue targets and support the growth of Mastercard in the commercial payment space. Role
- Work with key stakeholders to identify and develop new market segments, driving expansion and increase market share
- Enable and implement end to end strategies for commercial solutions rollout and adoption. Support the markets with adequate analysis/ case studies as required to demonstrate the value of these products.
- In partnership with the business development and account teams, support the strategic selling process with key customers: from identifying the opportunities to obtaining customer commitments through implementation and go-to-market
- Identify and develop strategies to maximize revenue from existing and new customers
- Execute and support commercialisation plans & key markets, with defined revenue opportunities.
- Contribute to the development and execution of product growth and expansion strategy
- Lead by example with a hands-on approach to demonstrate product management excellence and share best practices.
- Manage a wide range of stakeholders such as go-to-market, customer success, engineering, legal, compliance, finance, marketing and sales to ensure we define optimal solutions and scope the product/service must follow to be successful in the market
- Identify new and innovative use cases for Mastercard commercial solution and potential new distribution and technology partners.

Strong Commercial payments experience and knowledge with extensive experience in the payments or financial services sector, with a focus on growth and expansion, market development, and revenue optimization in payments. - Advanced level understanding of B2B and T&E payment flows, business needs, the purchase to pay process in large organisations and general card economics.
- This position requires a highly collaborative and self-driven individual who will need to manage relationships across multiple functional areas.
- Cross-functional team experience managing multiple, complex projects concurrently and delivering timely results under tight timelines.
- Experience of consultative sales, relationship management, product management and within the financial services or payments industry, preferably with commercial issuing background, understanding of competitive landscape and industry trends a plus.
- Knowledge and skills using product management tools, (e.g. market and product plans, project timelines, marketing research, pricing, business case development).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence and build credibility internally and externally; team-oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible.
- Personal presence and ability to clearly communicate compelling messages to senior management and business partners both internally and externally including roles within customer organizations, at all levels.
- Ability to embrace complexity but deliver and articulate simplicity.
- Experience using relevant Microsoft Office programs and ability to create deliverables on a timely basis (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus. Fluency in English & French with other languages highly preferable.
