As a key player in our Performance Marketing team, you'll drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth through strategic partnerships. You'll work with cutting-edge technology, data-driven strategies, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that values innovation and impact. The Senior Affiliate Manager will be responsible for leading RS's EMEA affiliate marketing strategy, managing the affiliate programme, and driving revenue growth through strong partnerships. This role includes direct line management of an Affiliate Account Manager, ensuring their development and success. Additionally, the Senior Affiliate Manager will work closely with key functions such as CRM, SEO, Paid Search, and eCommerce to ensure an integrated approach to performance marketing. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and adept at fostering collaboration across teams to maximise the effectiveness of RS's affiliate marketing efforts. What you will be doing: As the Senior Affiliate Manager, you will be leading the Affiliate Strategy & Growth, developing and executing a comprehensive affiliate marketing strategy to drive incremental revenue and expand RS's EMEA affiliate programme. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key affiliates, networks, and partners to optimise performance and drive engagement, while monitoring, analysing, and reporting on affiliate performance, leveraging data-driven insights to improv Within the team, you will manage and develop the Affiliate Account Manager, providing guidance and support to maximise performance and career development. You will be collaborative, working closely with internal teams, including CRM, SEO, Paid Search, and eCommerce, to align affiliate marketing efforts with broader business and marketing objectives. You will oversee affiliate marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and strong returns on investment and ensure all affiliate activities adhere to industry regulations, brand guidelines, and ethical marketing standards. You will look to identify new opportunities for growth, including exploring emerging affiliate models and testing innovative strategies.
- Self-Motivation & Autonomy: A highly self-motivated individual who can work autonomously, take initiative, and drive performance without constant supervision.
- Experience: Proven track record of managing and scaling affiliate programmes in a global or multi-market environment, ideally within eCommerce, or a performance-driven marketing role.
- Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, optimise campaigns, and drive strategic decisions.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated experience in managing teams and working cross-functionally to drive business success.
- Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of affiliate marketing commercial models, including CPA, CPL, and revenue-sharing agreements.
- Relationship Management: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage relationships with key affiliates, networks, and internal stakeholders.
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Broad understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem, including paid media, SEO, and customer acquisition strategies.
- Tools & Platforms: Experience with affiliate platforms and tracking technologies (e.g., AWIN, Rakuten, Impact, Google Analytics, Power BI, Adobe Analytics, or similar tools).
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans while maintaining a hands-on approach to daily operations.
