Full Job Description

Reporting to the hotel-based Director of Sales, the role of the Corporate Sales Manager is to drive incremental revenue into the hotel in line with budget and future strategy for the corporate segment. The Corporate Sales Managers role will have the responsibility for both new business targets and the growth and relationship building of existing accounts to drive revenue expectations and market share.

  • Have a clear understanding of the hotel business mix, budget strategy and support accordingly
  • Deliver the corporate strategic business plan to achieve target revenue for you individually and your team
  • Understanding of Agency 360 to identify business opportunities
  • Consistently deliver on agreed weekly activity targets for leads, calls and appointments and demonstrate results from the activity
  • Grow revenue and deliver targeted revenue growth through relationship building and understanding of our existing clients
  • Understand competitors business through site visit
  • To identify innovative ways to drive new sales leads with a structured follow up plan
  • Understand areas of focus for underperforming hotel(s) and find ways to address the shortfall
  • To work closely with revenue and hotel team to align rate plans and pricing
  • Utilise salesforce.com to enrich client specific data to build a deep understanding of the accounts, the opportunities that exist and to share key information with the hotel(s)
  • To completely understand the brand(s) you are working within and feel confident presenting to internal and external customers
  • Work in conjunction with the central Key Account Directors to develop opportunities and drive revenue for new business and existing accounts
  • Support the Director of Sales in developing inbound international business from key markets and global strategic accounts
  • Investigate and complete all RFP's in a timely manner using a range of RFP tools and sales tools to understand market performance
  • Attend trade shows and TMC office visits as required, with a set of clear objectives and targets
  • Be passionate about learning and developing your own skills and understanding of the industry
  • Consistently look for opportunities outside your own cluster to benefit all hotels in the group

    A minimum of 2 years sales experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in London
  • Minimum 1 year in similar corporate sales role within a hotel
  • Excellent at building new and existing client relationships to understand account drivers for incremental revenue
  • Will challenge the status quo to look at news ways of working
  • Results-oriented and driven to achieve revenue and performance targets
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel
  • Highly commercial and lives and breathes the key business measures
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build successful partnerships with clients, partners, and work collaboratively across the hotel(s) and central teams
  • Adaptable to different markets & segments
