At Cwm Taf Morgannwg youll find a diverse and forward thinking workplace. Here, you will join a team of passionate individuals working together to meet the healthcare challenges of a diverse region. To contribute to the provision of health care to the people serviced by the Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board in the role of Senior BMS. Specifically this involves day to day organisation and supervision of scientific and technical work in the Blood Transfusion section. The post holder will also be required to deputise for the Blood Transfusion Service Manager. Post holder will work as an independent practitioner within professional codes and procedures. Will have significant discretion to make autonomous decisions on validating and authorising results. The post holder will provide a specialist clinical technical service to
patients. Will be required to analyse a variety of test results, using technical laboratory equipment and explain test outcomes to other health professionals. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
