Full Job Description

Calling all Podiatrists looking for a new opportunity within a world-renowned centre of clinical excellence and one of the largest NHS teaching trusts in the UK. Are you a podiatrist?   • Providing specialist podiatry care for both in-patients and out-patients across our Trust. You will be responsible for the highest standards of specialist clinical practice in delivering podiatry services, within agreed national and local policies and clinical guidelines.
  • Work as part of a team of podiatrists working across the in-patient and out-patient settings and you are expected to work closely and effectively with other health care professionals in securing high standards of multidisciplinary care for all patients.
  • You will be expected to work in the OCDEM Diabetic Outpatient Foot Clinic, and work/liaise with other ward based health professionals and patients/public in all aspects of their care and service delivery

    The successful Podiatrist will be enthusiastic about providing high quality wound care. You will cover acute podiatry services in both the inpatient, outpatient and renal settings across our 4 main Trust sites. You will be involved in weekly outpatient MDFT, vascular ward rounds, and daily co-ordinating through inpatient pathways through multiple specialities.
  • Previous experience working in an acute setting is highly desired but not essential, full training and support is provided. The department has an ongoing education programme and there are supported CPD opportunities. For applicants who have no previous hospital experience there is the opportunity to develop through a structured competency-based programme.There will also be the opportunity for you to be involved in a growing research portfolio within the department.
