Herefordshire and Worcestershire provide high qualitycommunity crisis services to children and young people covering a largegeographical area. No two days are the same, so flexibility, problem solvingskills and a desire to make a difference are vital for this role. It is essential you have excellent IT Skillsand a knowledge of NHS IT Systems such as Care Notes is beneficial. You will provide all administrative duties for the team,including letters, appointments, telephone calls, as well as respondingeffectively to enquiries from the public, service users, other agencies. Please note the Trust will not providesponsorship to work for this role, to apply you must have current right to workin the UK status. Main duties of the job The successful candidate willneed to have proven experience working within a fast-paced environment,demonstrate a flexible approach, with the ability to manage workload andmaintain professionalism during busy periods. A typical days duties willinvolve undertaking general administration / secretarial duties that are specificto the Herefordshire and Worcestershire CAMHS community crisis Team. Manage incoming and outgoingemails and letters / correspondence. You will require excellentcommunication skills, as you will often be the first point of contact for theservice answering to telephone enquiries and arranging appointments for thoseaccessing and referring to the service. Other duties includeundertaking general office duties, as required, , typing, data inputting,filing, scanning / copying, in line with Trust Policies and Procedures. Arranging, confirmingappointments and meetings, making appropriate arrangements hospitality,booking venues, equipment, etc.,
- Manage and prioritise own workload effectively
- Communicateinformation to colleagues and staff from internal / external contacts
- Excellent keyboard skills
- Answer / deal with face-to-face, written and telephone enquiries ina professional manner, recording messages efficiently and relaying to relevantindividuals in an appropriate and timely manner
- Prepare for and attend appraisal meetings, and complete allmandatory training, required by the Trust.
- Be a flexible and supportive member of the team, providing coverduring staff absences or high demand
- Maintain accurate and detailed records in accordance with theTrusts policy and guidelines
- Type / word-process routine documentation that is specific to therole, letters, reports, minutes
- Input data accurately onto bespoke systems on a daily basis
- Adhere to the local and National Health and Safety regulations andthe Trusts Policies and Procedures., Educated to academic Level 3 ( A-Level, NVQ3, OCR / RSA3, City and Guilds 3) in a Business / Administration related subject or Educated to academic Level 2 ( GCSE Grade A-C) with considerable recent NHS administrative experience and will be expected to undertake the relevant level 3 qualification on appointment to post

- Access, Recent, relevant Administrative / Secretarial experience (usually demonstrated by a minimum of 2 years experience) Desirable
