To provide a KS3 learner with in-person educational support, at the family home based in Bury St Edmunds. 3x 2.5 hours per day across the week during daytime hours. This lovely young learner has been described as wanting to learn but their anxiety makes them believe that they are going to fail. They have been diagnosed with ADHD & ASD. Sessions should focus on delivering English and Maths tuition in accordance to the National Curriculum in a multisensory approach to teaching. Lessons need to focus on improving self-confidence and a higher sense of self-worth, bridging the gaps in their knowledge and extending their capabilities, but should also be fun and flexible. The role is looking to begin as soon as possible.
