Full Job Description

To assist in the provision of high quality care to women and their families using the antenatal screening service, under the direction and supervision of the Antenatal Screening Coordinators.

Demonstrate a range of skills to meet the needs of women whilst promoting dignity, privacy and respect. To comply with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers. To provide a range of healthcare and non-nursing duties, ensuring an efficient and effective service to the department at all times., To provide care and administration under the guidance and supervision of a registered midwife. Supporting women in their care during ultrasound scans and during the course of their antenatal screening journey. You will work as an integral part of a small team responsible for overseeing the administration and completion of antenatal screening, newborn blood spots, supporting the fetal medicine consultant ultrasound service and maintaining the standards set by Public Health England.

To assist with administration and non-nursing duties at the discretion of the Screening Coordinators, Antenatal Clinic Manager or Band 7 coordinator. To support the Antenatal Clinic in times of high acuity.
