Full Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an aspiring psychologist to work in the Worcestershire CAMHS. We welcome applications from candidates with a BPS-accredited psychology degree, who have a passion for supporting the emotional wellbeing of children or young people. We are seeking someone who has the personal qualities and enthusiasm for placing patient care at the heart of services, who is highly motivated to learn about and improve the psychological wellbeing and outcomes for young people. Skills in research and/or audit skills and applying these to service improvement will be essential. We are a friendly and supportive team and offer lots of opportunity for staff to learn and develop., You would be working with psychologists and other CAMHS professionals supporting the psychological interventions offered to children, young people and families. You would work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and support the service by undertaking audits, evaluation, supporting clinical pathways and service development. You would also support service user engagement and projects developing increased service user involvement and co-development. You will be supported to develop skills in direct work with children and young people under the supervision of a psychologist.
