Full Job Description

Norwich School is looking to recruit an Attendance Officer (Admin Hub) on a permanent, part time basis.

The role is 35 hours per week over 35 weeks (term time plus one week). The required hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm with an unpaid hour for lunch. Flexibility in working hours and pattern is required to meet the changing needs of the school. The salary for this position is £18,449 per annum (based on £25,528 per annum, full time equivalent).

The successful candidate will collate, record and monitor pupil attendance and absence data using computerised and manual systems. In addition, as part of the Admin Hub, all members of the team are required to cover for other team members in the case of absence or as the needs of the school require.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent inter-personal skills and be a firm believer in the ethos and aims of the school, which is located in the Cathedral Close at the heart of this vibrant, historic city.

We have a strategic aim and commitment to increase the diversity of our staff body. We are passionate about the adults in our community being positive role models for pupils of all backgrounds and we also want our staff to reflect the diversity of our pupil body and wider society in general. We would therefore particularly welcome applicants who come from ethnically minoritised backgrounds.
