Full Job Description

As a Leather Trimmer, you will be working on bespoke projects, primarily focusing on high-end vehicle interiors. You'll collaborate with the design and production teams to fit complete leather re-trims and ensure the highest quality finishes. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.,

  • Work closely with the design and production teams to deliver custom automotive leather re-trims for luxury vehicles.
  • Fit a variety of interior components, including seat covers, door cards, dashboards, and steering wheels.
  • Utilize a range of tools including industrial sewing machines, air tools, and power tools to complete projects.
  • Maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship at all times.
  • Manage time effectively to meet tight project deadlines.
  • Some manual labor and working in confined spaces within vehicles is required.

    A minimum of 1 year of experience as an automotive interior trimmer.
  • Experience with high-end vehicle marques (experience with brands like Range Rover or Jeep is a bonus).
  • Strong knowledge of working with materials like leather, vinyl, Alcantara, adhesives, and carpets.
  • Skilled in using industrial sewing machines and hand tools, with a good understanding of vehicle electronics.
  • Ability to unpick and re-sew steering wheels and other intricate details.
  • An eye for quality and fine detail.
