Full Job Description

The aim of the ER service will be to support individuals to better understand and manage their risks, build upon their strengths, learn new skills, and identify and break down barriers to access existing community-based services. This exciting role offers the suitable candidate an interesting and varied role providing administrative support to the multidisciplinary team. Working as the sole administrator within the team, you will need excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. You will need to meet deadlines, collate data and maintain standards relating to administrative processes. The ability to work under pressure will be essential and you must have the ability to manage your time effectively to meet the needs of the service. The service will cover Birmingham and Solihull as part of the Secure Care and Offender Health division (BSMHFT), and some travel will be required.

If so, this could be the job for you!, A thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and experience of working in a busy office environment is essential. You will also be expected to cover reception duties when required and therefore, some experience of working in a compassionate and inclusive way with service users with complex and challenging presentations may be beneficial.

The successful applicant with have an NVQ Level III in Business Admin or equivalent plus relevant experience of working in an administrative role.
