Full Job Description

The post holder will be part of the Commissioning function within the Collaborative, which is responsible for the service planning, transformation, quality, performance and finance of all projects for people with a Learning Disability and/or Autism - including the Small Supports programme.
Small Supports organisations provide support through a service designed around an individual. This bespoke support enables people to have their health needs met as well as their wants and wishes fulfilled.
The post holder will have a great opportunity to work with LD&A services across the system to develop and embed the small supports programme, advocating for it with a range of audiences. In particular they will lead on recruitment and development of new small supports providers across Birmingham and Solihull.
They will enable service users, carers and members to be listened to and responded to as well as developing partnerships to plan, review and design any required service changes and improvements. This includes supporting work around reducing health inequalities and inclusion of those who are at risk of re-admission or discharge delays., The post holder's main duties will include:
· Leading the establishment of the Small Supports programme and accompanying activity.
· Developing and marketing the Small Supports Commissioning and Operational Strategy.
· Recruiting, establishing and supporting a network of commissioned Small Supports providers.
· Developing infrastructure and processes to enable co-production in Small Supports decision making and quality assurance and improvement activities.

Please note, if applicable for your role you will be required to cover the cost of your DBS certificate. This will be deducted from your salary over 3 months. You will also be required to sign up to the DBS Update Service before commencement with the Trust.
All successful applicants will be required to complete the Trust's induction programme. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e-learning format. You will be required to complete training modules online (approx. 9-14 hours depending on post) by the end of your first week with us.
