Bank Catering Driver

Principal duties will involve the collection and distribution of patient and staff cook- chill meals across the Trust sites and outlying areas. You will ensure that the vehicle is driven in a safe and economical manner at all times, bearing in mind that the vehicles are easily identified as belonging to the Trust.
Shift pattern 7:30am - 15:00pm as and when required and may include Sunday's.

The Trust Catering Department is looking to recruit an experienced Bank Driver ideally with catering experience to deliver a friendly, prompt and professional meal transportation service across the Trust., Applicants must have good communication skills, a good geographical knowledge of Sandwell and surrounding areas and must be able to work effectively in a service focused environment. Able to demonstrate exceptional punctuality, professionalism and flexible attitude approach to their work. Please note there is a significant manual handling element attached to this post associated with the delivery and collection of meals.
Applicants must have a full current and valid driving licence for the following classes is essential: B, C1 and D1. All successful applicants will be required to undertake a CPC training course, DBS check at Enhanced level and an induction/training programme.
