Full Job Description

The post- holder will be part of the Bowel Cancer Screening Team and will manage the day to day responsibilities for booking patients from the waiting list and maximising clinic utilisation as well as undertaking other administration duties within the Bowel Cancer Screening Service. They will also be responsible in liaising with the Specialty Screening Practitioner to ensure that all patients requiring bowel screening are booked appropriately using Trust policies and procedures., Working with the Specialist Nurse Practitioner to ensure all patients attending as part of the Bowel Screening Programme are accurately recorded.

Being responsible for the management and maintenance of the data centre for the unit and national database for audit, research and reporting process.

Provide administrative support to the programme by coordinating and minuting Bowel Screening Programme meetings.

Responsible for scheduling clinics for the Specialist Nurse Practitioner.
