The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., The successful applicant will work as part of a well-established dynamic breast multi-disciplinary team who provide specialist advice, holistic care and support to patients, their relatives and all members of the health care teams within the hospital. With the support of the team you will lead and manage a caseload of patients with specialist needs. You will be required to lead, support, develop and evaluate the breast cancer service to improve and maintain standards of patient care and promote a seamless service within a multi-disciplinary framework. The role covers a week day specialist service and the post is full time - 37.5 hours per week.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated senior nurse who is passionate about breast cancer to lead and support the development of the secondary breast cancer service at Swansea Bay University health board.
Applications for this post are invited from experienced nurses who have had experience in breast cancer/oncology. We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual who is flexible, self-motivated, and reliable plus a good team player and leader. You should also have a degree and be willing to develop your academic and clinic practice. You should uphold excellent communication skills. You will play an active part in clinical practice, education, research/audit and the implementation of national guidelines., The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply., Please see the attached job description and person specification for a detailed outline of the job requirements.
