Building Surveyor

You can expect to become involved in: - A range of project and professional work in Leicester in the Midlands. - Projects across sectors including education, healthcare, residential, defence and others. Your core duties will include: - Running projects, monitoring progress and expenditure - Using commercial awareness to assist in project resourcing - Providing technical support in bid preparation and general business development activities - Undertaking surveys in accordance with the firm's procedures - Attending client meetings, presentations etc - Monitoring day to day programming and planning, internal costs, preparing and issuing fee invoices - Liaising directly with clients and other stakeholders as appropriate

In order to be considered for this role, you must have: - Relevant experience in a similar role - Excellent technical knowledge including administration of building contracts - Ability to manage, monitor and control workload and resource allocation - Ability to monitor progress and expenditure of projects In order to stand out from the crowd, it is desirable for you: - To be Chartered or be committed to becoming Chartered - To be undertaking relevant CPD activities - To have experience working for public sector clients.
