Careers Administrator

Warrington & Vale Royal College is seeking to appoint a Careers Administrator to provide support to Careers Education, Employability and Higher Education across the College. This role is based at our Warrington Campus and is for 22.5 hours a week, The college is proud to hold the Gold accreditation in the Investors in People framework. We have been assessed against the criteria of Leading, Supporting and Improving, and the Gold award means that the college has the right principles in place, and our people and leaders demonstrate a commitment to best practice, people management and personal development. Sustainability is a key priority for Warrington & Vale Royal College, and we are committed to raising awareness and the implementation of sustainable practices in all aspects of college life. Sustainability principles are embedded across the college, and our sustainability action plan and committee are led by senior leaders to ensure that this remains a key focus. Suitable candidates must be educated to degree level, with 5 GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English, and must hold a relevant Careers Guidance IAG qualification at Level 4 or above. In addition, candidates should have experience of working with post 16 students and adult clients, experience of successful liaison with different groups of people and an excellent knowledge of developments within careers education.
