As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for the assessment of needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. You will also be expected to ensure a high standard of nursing in the application of clinical nursing procedures and treatments including the custody, storage and administration of medicines.   • We will provide you with a robust and supportive welcome programme; including our local Ravenswood House Induction.
  • During your first two months you have the option to sit down to discuss a career navigation plan and the different routes available to you., As a Charge Nurse you will take charge of a ward regularly and accept duties as delegated by the clinical ward manager. You will support the management of a ward including the deployment, supervision, teaching of staff/students and resources.
  • You will be responsible for assessing individual care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care as well as setting standards of care and you will take responsibility for the management, deployment and supervision of junior staff in the unit throughout the span of duty when on night duty.
