Full Job Description

  • Independently assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care for a defined caseload of patients
  • Assume responsibility for individual clinical areas within the unit
  • Maintain and continually develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relevant to individual clinical area
  • Contribute to the development of others through supervision, mentoring and teaching
  • Contribute toward the continuing development of professional nursing practice in the Emergency Department
  • To follow trust guidance in regards to safe guarding

  • We are looking for Children's Nurses that have previously worked in an emergency setting or have ward based skills looking to gain experience in this dynamic environment. We are looking for motivated staff to join our friendly department. Although this is fast paced environment, we offer an excellent learning opportunities and support to gain new skills.
