Full Job Description

This is a 10.5PA post for a Clinical Consultant Oncologist, with a specialist interest in lung and breast tumours. The post is based at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust and with weekly attendance to our satellite site at Ashford and St Peters Hospital.

Following a recent of review of our outstanding Oncology service, we are pleased to be expanding our medical workforce numbers to meet the growing demand., The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust hosts a leading regional Cancer Centre, and we are seeking a well-organized Clinical Consultant Oncologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expertise in the management and treatment of patients with Lung and Breast tumours. This includes offering Chemotherapy, systemic therapy, and Radiotherapy (including Stereotactic). This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team providing exceptional cancer care in a modern, state-of-the-art facility.

We are looking for candidates who are on the Specialist Register for Clinical Oncology (or within six months of CCT date for resident doctors), have expertise and experience in Lung & Breast tumours, have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and continuous professional development, and excellent communication and teamwork skills., This remit requires a well-organized individual with good team-working skills and the ability to complete work within agreed timescales in cooperation with all staff groups and with support from senior colleagues.
