Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Midlands Education Commissioning team. We are seeking to recruit a Band 4 Commissioning Administrator. This is a is fixed term, full time position for 37.5 hours per week., Your role will be to provide a full range of administrative support to the commissioning team, reporting directly to the Commissioning Manager. Your duties will involve:

  • Communicating professionally with all members of the team, stakeholders, and internal colleagues, in person, on the telephone, and in writing.
  • Diary management, organising meetings and arranging travel to meetings
  • Minute and note taking
  • Accurate management and manipulation of databases to support commissioning processes
  • Shared responsibility for a generic email mailbox - managing incoming tasks, prioritising tasks and delegating tasks., NHS England hold a Sponsor Licence; this means that we may be able to sponsor you providing the Home Office requirements are met. To be eligible for sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route you'll usually need to be paid the 'standard' salary rate of at least £38,700 per year, or the 'going rate' for your job, whichever is higher.     We are looking for an individual who can provide a high level of administrative support to the team, with the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload. You will thrive from working within a fast-paced environment.
  • A good working knowledge of Office 365, and Microsoft Office applications and the ability to manipulate information from a variety of sources is essential. Excellent communication skills across a range of stakeholders are required. You will have the ability to deal sensitively with people at all levels. If you are a self motivated, hardworking individual with an eye for detail and fantastic organisation skills, this could be an ideal opportunity for you.
