We deliver a high quality education in science that challenges and stimulates students. The sciences are popular A Level subjects with many students choosing science-based courses at university. We promote many vocational and enrichment opportunities, including STEM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) to enrich learning experiences. Specialising in sports since 2004, our sports facilities, teaching expertise and extra-curricular provision are outstanding. Our students enjoy sporting success at district and national level and benefit from an exceptional extra-curricular programme although our ethos is centred on participation for all.   We have an exciting opportunity for a committed Communication Support Worker to join our Resource Base for Deaf Students on a fixed term sickness absence cover to support our teaching staff and deaf students.
You should have a good general education and an ability to foster good relationships, whilst demonstrating patience and sensitivity. Also, you should be able to work flexibly as part of an established team. Signature BSL Level 3 and GNVQ Support Workers or Communicator Support Worker qualification or equivalent are essential.
