Full Job Description

We are strengthening our workforce and are now actively recruiting additional Consultant anaesthetist to join the UHB team., The core component of this post is to provide anaesthetic cover for a range of specialty lists.

The post holder must understand the significant ongoing changes in the Trusts services and be prepared to take an active part in the change program.

A standard full time job plan will contain 10 programmed activities which could be filled by a variety of options from currently uncovered lists and flexible cover for consultant leave.

As a large anaesthetic department we support both local and international trainees and have an active educational programme. The successful candidate will hold the FRCA, or equivalent, and have extensive experience and evidence of extended training in aspects of general anaesthesia. We particularly welcome applications from motivated individuals keen to invest in the development of the service and contribute to a positive departmental culture.
