Yeovil College is seeking an inspiring Curriculum Coordinator for Creative Media to lead the development and coordination of our Creative Industries Department. This role will focus on crafting innovative and engaging curriculum for our 16-18 Study Programmes and Adult Education courses, ensuring that learners are equipped with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the creative media industry., As the Lead Tutor and Lead Internal Verifier, you'll collaborate with the Curriculum Area Manager and programme managers to ensure effective student recruitment, retention, and achievement. You'll play a key role in supporting and guiding students while developing high-quality curriculum that meets industry standards. Additionally, you'll have teaching and assessment responsibilities and serve as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, monitoring progress and driving continuous improvement across our creative media programmes.   • Substantial experience of personal tutoring and providing pastoral support to learners.
  • Ability to demonstrate extensive experience of all aspects of curriculum co-ordination.
  • Relevant teaching qualification or higher degree in Creative Media.
  • Experience of supporting young people to learn and develop new skills.
  • The ability to work successfully within a team.
  • A passion for teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Annual Salary: £28,755 to £37,169 plus £2,000 Supplement
  • Full-time position, 37 hours per week, all year round.
