We have two exciting opportunities for experienced individuals to join the SGS Wellbeing Service at Stroud Campus supporting our specialist provisions, as a Wellbeing Mentor and Safeguarding Officer. Key Tasks and Responsibilities
• Provide 1:1 wellbeing support to learners, addressing their social, emotional, mental health, and wellbeing needs.
• Collaborate with learners, tutors, staff, parents, carers, and external agencies to support learner retention and achievement.
• Offer focused support to Children Looked After, Care Leavers, and Young Adult Carers.
• Follow safeguarding processes and procedures as outlined in the College's policy.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records.
  
  Experience working with young people aged 14+ on emotional, social, mental health, and wellbeing issues.
• Knowledge and experience in areas such as Health, Youth Work, Housing, or Social Care.
• Strong teamwork skills.
  
  FTE Salary: Up to £29,868.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience)
