Full Job Description

Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Curriculum Manager to lead the team at HMP Exeter.

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties

- Effective Leadership, motivation and line management of the Weston College team.
- Ensuring regular meetings as designated under the PEF contract.
- Ensuring appropriate recruitment, scheduling and utilisation of staff whilst assuring the quality of their work.
- Monitoring and positively contributing to effective delivery of all targets including - but not exclusively: Recruitment, retention, achievement, success, and the teacher quality management plan.

A degree, or professional qualification, which is appropriate to the work.
- A Teaching Qualification at level 4 or above.
- Leadership and management experience ideally in an educational or custodial setting.
- Excellent computer literacy skills including an up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft Office., Disability Confident
