Full Job Description

Primarily, as a DBS Compliance & Badging Officer, you will undertake legal compliance checks on DBS's of our CYPTS Service Providers and contractors employees', additionally holding responsibility of being a Panel member to present and assess suitability for them to work within Regulated Activity. Once approval has been given then further responsibility include ordering and issuing CYPTS ID Badges, and maintaining accurate records of all applications, with any regular necessary data cleansing of records. You will regularly visit sites to directly issue ID badges to workers and visit CYPTS Service Provider Depots to conduct compliance audits. A very varied role! You'll will work effectively within Safeguarding and Compliance and closely with CYPTS transport Service Providers to give our children and families a first-class safe service. You'll have a good understanding of Regulated Activity and DBS Compliance, and the challenges faced by children and young people with special educational needs and their families. Using your skills in DBS compliance management, information gathering, great communication and achieving positive resolutions, you'll put children and families at the heart of what you do. As a DBS Compliance & Badging Officer, the role will offer hybrid working with a regular requirement to travel to Service Provider sites, schools and educational establishments within Birmingham and other counties within England where CYPTS operates. You must upload a Supporting Statement via the attachments part of your application.
