The salary scale above has been agreed as part of the NHS Agenda for Change pay award for 2024/2025 and will be implemented in November 2024 backdated to 1st April 2024 where applicable., An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Legal Services Team at Swansea Bay Health Board as a Deputy Legal Services Manager.
We are seeking two enthusiastic, driven and patient-focussed individuals who can manage a complex Claims and Inquest caseload.
Please see attached Job Description for further details., The primary purpose of the Deputy Legal Services Manager post is to support the Legal Services Manager in ensuring that the Health Board is fully compliant with the Civil Procedure Rules 1998, The National Health (Concerns, Complaints and Redress Arrangements) (Wales) Regulations 2011, regulations and The Coroners and Justice Act 2009 ensuring opportunities for learning is identified across the Health Board.
The post holder will be responsible for management of a large, complex and higher value claims caseload as well as an inquest case load on a day-to-day basis at Swansea Bay University Health Board. The post holder will be responsible for managerial tasks and functions to support the management of such processes.
