Full Job Description

Are you soon to qualify as a Dietitian or are you a Band 5 looking to gain more experience? We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic and with excellent communication and team working skills. This position is part of an expanding team with an opportunity to help shape the future service provision. You will benefit from working alongside Specialist Dietitians with expertise in a range of specialities including stroke, neuro rehab, gastroenterology, critical care, surgery, frailty, and oncology. You will also gain experience in supporting food policy initiatives, promoting MUST screening and service development.,

  • Manage a designated caseload of patients who may have divers and complex dietetic needs.
  • Develop individualised holistic care plans which addresses nutritional status, weight, recommended dietary modifications, lifestyle factors, behaviour change, education, physical activity and where appropriate condition management.
  • Support patient care through implementation of dietetic care pathways.
  • Act as source of expertise in nutrition for medical staff, nursing staff and other healthcare professional.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals within and outside the Trust
