Full Job Description
At WBD, our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is one of our core strategic objectives. In line with this, we are looking to recruit a new DEI Programme Development Manager to join us on the next stage of our exciting journey to becoming a more responsible business. What will you be doing? Reporting to our Head of DEI and working closely with our Partner Lead for Responsible Business, this is a new role that will lead on building in-house capability to scope, design, deliver, and evaluate DEI training programmes to a range of staff varying in seniority. You'll lead on the scoping, design, delivery, and evaluation of a range of DEI training programmes, including: an inclusive leadership programme for senior leaders; a career development programme to support the progression of staff from underrepresented groups into more senior grades; and a suite of DEI programmes for all staff across the firm, around topics such as race, sex, disability, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. You will lead the design and delivery of inclusive mentoring and reverse mentoring programmes, as well as of DEI training for business development and client teams pitching for contracts. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will ensure that DEI is integrated throughout our existing L&D programme and core business processes. Additionally, you will use firm and sector data and metrics to inform the development of DEI training programmes and harness new and emerging technologies to enhance learning provision. You will prepare and present management reports to update the DEI Committee and the Responsible Business Governance Group on the progress of DEI training programmes, consult on new propositions, and demonstrate the impact of activities. You'll actively contribute to identifying opportunities to collaborate with clients. In collaboration with the Head of DEI and Partner Lead for Responsible Business, you will lead the design and development of a DEI development programme offering for new and existing clients, forming a key part of our potential new consultancy offer. Your role will also involve continually developing and enhancing the DEI training programmes, ensuring they are accessible and visible, and supporting the development of an overarching approach to colleague engagement in relation to DEI-related issues., Find out more about our Responsible Business initiatives here, including our net zero goals, local community engagement and social inclusion
