Full Job Description

Support the Early Years, Childcare and Children's Centre Service by ensuring data reporting and ICT systems are adequate to meet statutory obligations in relation to:-

  • Administering Early Education Entitlement
  • Supporting quality improvement in childcare providers judged by OfSTED to be inadequate or requiring improvement;
  • Supporting co-ordination of safeguarding information systems;
  • Meeting the statutory information duty relating to childcare.
  • Develop system requirements in liaison with business colleagues to meet changing business needs or statutory duties. Define and review the links and data flows between Early Years systems, liaising with business colleagues and ICT contractor partners to ensure these are effectively managed and understood. Develop and maintain performance management frameworks to link in to local and national data processes and support the service and wider Education and Skills Directorate. You will manage a team of data, research and information officers. You must upload a Supporting Statement via the attachments part of your application.     Permanent Grade 5 - £41,511 - £49,764 Consultation grade - subject to formal evaluation under the Pay Equity Review We are a Living Wage Employer, and all our roles will be paid as such where the pay scales are below the Living Wage rate.
