Full Job Description

The Eating Disorders Service at The Brownhill Centre, Cheltenham is seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Team Manager. This is a newly commissioned post as part of the wider transformation of the service and has been established to support the ongoing development of a the Eating Disorders Service. The Service The Eating Disorders service is highly regarded and provides specialist assessment, treatment and support for individuals who are experiencing an eating disorder and their families within Gloucestershire. There is a strong focus on specialist therapies in the service and excellent clinical leadership and supervision within the team. The Team Manager will Lead in the operational management of the Service, providing day to day management, leadership and line management to staff including non-clinical staff. Work alongside the Service Operational Lead and Clinical Leads to oversee the clinicalleadership within the team. Alongside service clinical leads advise on specialist assessment, planning,implementation and evaluation of care in the community for service users with severe / complex mental health conditions., Oversee clinical supervision and provide line management supervision to the multidisciplinary team to ensure that service users receive excellent quality standards of care, including non-clinical staff. Be operationally accountable for the work delegated to other members of the team and be responsible for supervising their practice, including planning complex activities which require the formulation and adjustment of care plans alongside clinical leads. Oversee clinical leadership and role modelling for junior staff in relation to risk assessment, management and risk taking and therapeutic clinical interventions by working alongside the service Clinical Leads.
