Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee a commercial electrical project in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and lead an exciting project to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the electrical works, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.,

  • Manage the electrical scope of work for a commercial project from start to finish.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and coordination with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
  • Lead and support a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and within the agreed financial parameters.
  • Review and approve electrical design and installation plans.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and smooth project delivery.
  • Provide technical expertise and resolve any electrical-related issues that arise during the project.

  • Proven experience in electrical project management, ideally within the commercial sector.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and standards.
  • Experience in managing large-scale electrical projects and teams.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering or project management (e.g., HNC, HND, or equivalent).
  • A full understanding of health and safety protocols on-site.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
