Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to oversee electrical installations for a residential project in Newcastle. The Electrical Site Manager will be responsible for managing the electrical team, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining the project schedule. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision and Management: The Electrical Site Manager will supervise all electrical works on site, ensuring high standards of workmanship and adherence to project specifications. 2. Team Leadership: As the Electrical Site Manager, you will lead a team of electricians and subcontractors, providing guidance and support throughout the project. 3. Quality Assurance: The Electrical Site Manager will conduct regular inspections to ensure that all electrical installations meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. 4. Communication: The Electrical Site Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all electrical-related issues, liaising with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth operations. 5. Safety Compliance: The Electrical Site Manager will enforce safety protocols on site, conducting risk assessments and ensuring all team members adhere to health and safety regulations. 6. Project Coordination: The Electrical Site Manager will coordinate electrical works with other trades to ensure timely completion of the project, minimizing delays. 7. Documentation and Reporting: The Electrical Site Manager will maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager in residential projects.
- Relevant electrical qualifications and certifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and building regulations.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
