Full Job Description

  • Perform electrical installations and repairs in vacant social housing units, ensuring compliance with national standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and testing of electrical systems, and provide certifications of compliance.
  • Diagnose electrical issues efficiently and provide effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with the broader vacant homes team to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and reports on inspections and certifications.
  • Stay updated with the latest electrical codes, standards, and technologies for continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Utilise IT and communications equipment.
  • Deliver recognised industry standards for compliance, quality, and productivity.
  • Avail of individual and corporate training and development.
  • Drive a company van
  • Skills & Experience :
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical qualification or equivalent
  • 18th Edition
  • Time served apprenticeship
