Full Job Description

As a ESOL Lecturer with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for:

  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Prepare and deliver engaging and effective ESOL lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct formal and continuous assessments, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student progress.
  • Student Support: Offer academic and pastoral support to students, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their educational goals.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development and enhancement of the ESOL curriculum.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with the latest teaching methods and educational research.
