Join our sought-after Estimating Management Trainee Programme, where you'll be given the fantastic opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the business, developing your commercial knowledge relating to cost estimating and cost planning for work winning. Learning to review and analyse information that relates to preparing and writing cost plans and estimates, you'll prioritise cost effectiveness and best working practices. Using the knowledge and skills you've learnt on the programme, you'll:

  • Assist in producing cost plans and estimates for the bidding process of new projects.
  • Produce customer focussed responses and strategies for bid submissions, tailoring each response to the specific needs of each customer.
  • Compile electronic submissions of work, ensuring process is followed and necessary steps are taken.
  • Collaborate and engage with colleague and networks to develop your understanding of their area of work and responsibility.

    For the Trainee Apprentice route, you'll have a keen interest in Estimating Management and need to have achieved grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). You will also need to have obtained / be working towards a minimum of 2 A-Levels at grade D or above, or equivalent (Level 3 NVQ, BTEC, T-Level etc.).
  • London - For this position, you will be required to attend site visits, so a full UK driving license would be preferred for the future. Leeds - for this position, you will be based from a specific location but our projects are geographically widespread, so you will occasionally be required to travel to projects across the region. Expenses will be fully funded by the company, but it's important for you to be flexible and committed to travelling, as well as time away from home. To be successful on the programme you'll:
