Full Job Description

    Five Education is looking for a Teacher who can deliver to a small class of Primary-age children who have been diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). Some of the children also have additional needs with their communication and social abilities. The school is based in the vibrant city of Bristol. It has on-site parking but is also accessible by public transport.
  • The successful candidate will have classroom teaching experience and a developed understanding of autism-friendly teaching methods. You will be eager to develop your pedagogy by learning more about ASD. Teaching materials and resources are provided. However, the school encourage individuality, therefore you are welcome to adapt learning materials to make your lessons outstanding. The person chosen for this role may have previously been a primary / secondary / FE teacher. They will benefit from training and support whilst working with Five Education. The school has a supportive staff cohort and good facilities. There is a strong ethos of fostering ambition and achievement within every person in the school. The successful candidate will benefit from a pay rate dependent on experience.   • Previous classroom teaching experience
  • Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa).
  • At least two recent child-based references and relevant DBS / Police checks.
  • Experience in teaching / supporting individuals with SEN / Autism / Complex Needs / SEMH. (Desirable)
