If so, we are looking for someone like you to join our friendly, supportive Client Welfare Services Team as a Finance Administrator.

Client Welfare Services Team support clients who fall within the Adult Social Care directorate who are either vulnerable and/or have reduced capacity and require support to manage their own finances.

You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective financial administration support service for clients who fall within the Adult Social Care directorate.

This will include being responsible for applying for and maximizing benefits, therefore a good understanding of the welfare and benefits system is essential for this role, however training will be provided.

You will complete regular reviews of client's finances, pay invoices and provide personal monies in a timely accurate manner. This will also include contacting providers such as utility companies, care providers, housing organisations, liaising with Adult Social Care colleagues and the client's wider support network such as family and friends.

The role requires excellent organisational and customer care skills with the ability to manage competing demands and workloads.

Do you have experience in managing personal finances?, This post is covered by the Government's Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
