SGS College is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Learning Area Manager in our Foundation Studies Department. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). To support the curriculum design, growth and development of the Department we are seeking the skills and experience of an aspirational SEND practitioner, equipped with leadership skills to manage a team of dedicated, committed SEND teaching staff.,

  • Lead a talented team of educators to create a supportive and stimulating learning environment
  • Foster growth, independence and achievement among learners
  • Develop and implement an ambitious high needs curriculum
  • Enable learners to progress successfully to further study, independent living or employment, employment will be subject to a number of conditions including a requirement for providing
  • satisfactory references. In line with KCSIE and having regard to all relevant guidance, a range of checks and online searches will also be conducted for successful candidates, and a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure will need to be obtained as a requirement of the job.
