Full Job Description

The role of Framework Manager is overall responsibility for successful delivery of projects under the framework against specific KPI's in line with performance, safety, budget and programme. Whilst making sure that the Clients expectations are always met. You will have key direct reports of Project Managers and Site Managers to ensure effective delivery of each project.,

  • Working as part of the senior management team to ensure a best-in-class service is provided to our clients.
  • Overseeing pre-start / progress / handover meetings.
  • Chairing lesson learnt meetings on project completion.
  • Conducting site audits to ensure quality, health and safety standards are being met whilst offering improvements where applicable.
  • Managing, supervising and training (mentoring / coaching) team members.
  • Managing the day-to-day requirements and requests of our clients.
  • Promote and maintain, a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures including complying with legal regulations.
  • Managing the commercial administration of the construction team using commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and technical expertise. Dealing with valuations, disputes and final accounts.
  • Encouraging and inspiring construction teams to produce their best work using their full flair, experience, resources and talents in a cost-effective way.
  • Ensuring the delivery process recognises current legislation, standards and codes of practice, where appropriate.
  • Assisting the business to develop robust delivery procedures.
  • Support the construction teams by helping to manage the planning and delivery of large construction activities.
  • Ensuring development and review of project plans takes place in order to ensure a structured delivery.
  • Assist the business in winning new work.
  • Manage relationships with all key stakeholders (clients, direct and indirect staff, subcontractors etc).

    HNC in Electrical Engineering or a related field and experience in a similar role.
  • APM PMQ or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH or equivalent.
  • A contract management qualification., Proven experience in large project management.
  • Experience in managing small teams.
  • Indirectly leading and influencing people/teams from other functions.
  • Working to tight deadlines., Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Mathematical skills and the ability to apply them to solve problems.
  • Leadership and managerial skills.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and deal with unexpected change.
  • Adaptable.
  • Teamworking skills.
  • Technical expertise (for example in test, design, development and operations).
  • Good IT and analytical skills.
  • Use of Omicron equipment in a live test environment.
