Full Job Description

Are you passionate about patient care and improving liver health outcomes? Join our team at UHSussex as a Hepatology Surveillance Navigator! We are offering two exciting new Band 4 roles to support the delivery of a robust surveillance pathway for Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) for local patients, in collaboration with the Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance (SSCA). One post will be based in Brighton and Hove at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, while the other will cover Worthing and Chichester. These fixed-term posts are funded for two years and will play a crucial role in early cancer detection for patients with cirrhosis., As a Hepatology Surveillance Navigator, you will work closely with the Hepatology CNS team and Consultants, supporting the coordination and monitoring of surveillance pathways for patients at risk of developing Hepatocellular Carcinoma. This includes ensuring timely patient engagement in surveillance protocols, tracking key milestones in patient care, and maintaining surveillance databases.
