Heating Engineer

If you want to play an active role in improving people's lives, in a team developing and delivering a professional, customer focused and efficient housing maintenance service to the tenants of North Northamptonshire Council, we may have just the job for you!, We are seeking skilled heating engineers to join the Housing Property Services Team based at the Council's Depot at Fleming Road, Corby, working across the whole of the NNC authority. As a member of our team your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering the repair and maintenance to the council's 8,000+ tenants.
• Completing Landlord's Gas Safety Checks, installations, servicing, repairs and remedial work
• Checking, testing and upgrading heating systems in Void properties
• Participating in out of hours call out if required
• Delivering a first-time fix service, ensuring minimal disruption to our residents and providing outstanding customer care and quality performance.
  
  We are looking for Heating engineers with:
• Experience of fault finding/repairs, inspection, testing and installation of heating systems
• An understanding of the current regulations and a focus to always remain compliant
• Awareness of, and ability to follow, safe working procedures
• A commitment to provide exceptional customer service in a friendly manner with professional attitude and effective communication skills
• You will enjoy working as part of a team, whilst also being able to work unsupervised.
