An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Band 7 therapist to join our thriving Older Person's Psychology Team within CTMUHB, on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will work across localities within CTMUHB, within Older Person's Mental Health, experiencing the breadth of clinical work that the specialty has to offer. The CTMUHB Older Person's Psychology Team consists of a supportive and passionate team of colleagues, including both Clinical and Counselling Psychologists and High Intensity Specialist psychological therapists. We're a team who embraces change and opportunity. The successful candidate will be well supported and mentored by senior colleagues, and provided with a range of opportunities for career development. The wider Psychology service within CTMUHB has undergone exciting developments and is a thriving department. We hold regular conferences throughout the year, where psychology teams across CTMUHB come together to share good practice and innovations. We have close links with local training programmes and provide regular training and placement opportunities to Trainees.

CTM UHB Older Person's Mental Health services are currently divided into five areas: Bridgend, Rhondda, Cynon, Taff and Merthyr - each area consists of an Older Person's Community Mental Health Team (OPCMHT) and Memory Assessment Service (MAS) and feeds into the Older Person's Mental Health inpatient wards within the health board. The successful candidate for this post will be based within OPCMHT and MAS, working across localities, depending on service need., Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family.
